What is the largest religion in Australia?
According to the 2006 Census, Christianity is the largest religious grouping, making up 63.9% of the population. The most common Christian denominations are Catholic (25.8%) and Anglican (18.7%).

The 2007 Official Directory lists 1363 Catholic parishes, including 30 belonging to Eastern Catholic Churches.
