Some stations have also been fitted with directional tiles to assist people, who are blind or vision impaired, to locate stairs and to navigate along concourse areas. To check the location of tactile tiles please contact the station for information or check the station on the CityRail website:

Travelling by Bus
Whilst accessible rail stations provide an efficient way for pilgrims with a disability and their carers to travel, some pilgrims and their carers may need to access bus services. Many bus routes feature low-floor wheelchair accessible buses, which are generally also easier to access for all people with disabilities.
Accessible buses are not available on all routes and at all times. The frequency and availability of accessible bus service will alter before, during and after the peak travel times. Regularly checking the timetable for your bus route is recommended.
The availability of wheelchair accessible seating on all bus routes and services cannot be guaranteed. Planning and awareness of alternate travel options is recommended.
Planning your bus journey
Accessible trips are displayed on:
- Printed timetables, accessible routes show the wheelchair symbol on the cover and also next to each accessible trip.
